Family Violence Specialist

The Family Service Family Violence role:

The role involves the provision of an in-home family service, working in partnership with families with the aim of strengthening parenting capacity and family resilience particularly for families who have experienced or are experiencing family Violence's. The work involves taking steps to reduce risks to children's safety and wellbeing and that of other family members, as well as working with families to empower them to enhance their parenting capacity and family functioning and therefore to improve outcomes for children. As the Family Violence specialist you work take on complex cases, work closely with local Family Violence services as well as providing consults and training to other Practitioners in the Program.
