Farm Manager

Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of beef cattle farming, including breeding, calving, feeding, health care, and marketing. Monitor livestock health and liaise with veterinarians for preventative and reactive care. Maintain accurate records of livestock, feed usage, treatments, breeding, and production. Develop and implement rotational grazing and pasture improvement strategies. Manage feed inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage. Supervise and train farm workers and contractors. Operate and maintain farm machinery and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with health, safety, animal welfare, and environmental regulations. Contribute to budgeting, financial planning, and cost control. Plan seasonal work including haymaking, silage, and crop support if mixed-farming.
