Mid-Day is looking for a dynamic and deadline-driven Reporter to join our newsroom in Mumbai. The role involves a combination of field reporting, page production, and requiring strong news sense, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities-:

• FIELD REPORTING: The candidate should be open to stepping out for interviews, previews and reportage
• PAGE MAKING: Familiarity with InDesign page-making software is a plus because pagemaking/production is part of the role. If unaware of the software, the candidate will be guided initially after which they will be expected to use it for daily operations
• SOCIAL MEDIA AND DIGITAL: Proficient in tracking developments on social media and and ability to offer news breaks in assigned beats for digital updates
• WORKING DAYS: It is a 6-day working week - Monday to Saturday; Sunday is the weekly day off; team comes in on Saturdays from 2.30-3 pm.
