Feed Sales Representative

Description of the role:



As a Feed Sales Representative the main function will be to sell products such as feed for cattle, sheep/goats, horses, pigs and poultry to farmers and wholesalers. Marketing the company's product in effective ways by understanding the feed industry and animal nutrition. Often meet with clients, either by phone or in person, to discuss their needs on the farm and/or for their business. Be knowledgeable regarding the feed

industry to keep an eye on competitor products and changing needs. Must increase sales by being a strategic thinker and well informed of your client’s needs. Educate farmers/clients on the benefits of choosing the feed and why it compares better against the competition. Providing training to sales staff and applicable staff at wholesalers.
