A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

My son is 8 years old and has a diagnosis of Autism and is non-verbal. He lives at home with Mum (myself) along with his three siblings. His behaviours are challenging and he is missing out on interaction within the community as he tends to run off or have a breakdown if a place is overcrowded or he feels he is not being understood, he can also become over stimulated. He also has no awareness of danger. He enjoys going to the park at quieter times and also enjoys going for walks and swimming.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To keep me safe in my home and out in the community and to keep me stimulated.

PLACE OF WORK

In my home and out in the community.

HOURS OF WORK

6 hours per week.

2 hours on a Saturday 11am to 1pm.

Remaining days and times to be discussed at interview.

RATE OF PAY

£14.90 per hour.
