Fiber Network Engineer 


Pay Range:
  • $40 – 50/hr, dependent on experience

    • Summary:
  • This role will support planning, design, coordination, testing, and operational oversight for our expanding middle-mile fiber network.
  • This role bridges OSP fiber engineering with network reliability coordination and NOC collaboration.
  • It is ideal for candidates who are strong communicators, detail-oriented, and technically adept in both field and transport environments.

    • Job Duties:
  • Perform or review OSP fiber route designs, including aerial and underground paths.
  • Support field walkouts, permitting, and make-ready engineering reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (vendors, construction crews, NOC, and network operations).
  • Interface with the Network Operations Center (NOC) to:
  • Monitor equipment and network reliability.
