Reports To: Project Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary
The Field Engineer position will be responsible for the procurement and management of suppliers along with the supervision of field crews and coordination between subcontractors involved with the construction of various Marine, Bridge and highway work assignments.
Requirements:
•B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
•1-3 years experience on bridge and/or steel structures, must be proficient with AutoCAD
•Responsible to learn construction practices as required for compliance with federal, state, and local codes; industry standards; company procedures; contractual requirements; etc.
•Assists the Project Manager with required documents and information to support the successful completion of construction activities
