Field Engineer

mimic is a venture-backed deep tech robotics & AI company building physical AI systems for industrial deployment. Our platform combines dexterous robotic hands with cutting-edge AI trained on real-world human observations, enabling complex manual tasks to be automated in production environments and helping address global labor shortages.
As a Field Engineer, you will own the deployment, uptime, and operational performance of mimic robotic stations at customer sites. This includes debugging any issues occurring on-site, identifying problems and fixing them to ensure station uptime.
Responsibilities

Set up robot stations on-site during customer deployments 

Debug on-site software & systems issues around robot arms, data collection tools and the mimic software stack under linux, with the help of debugging tools

Feed field learnings back into engineering and product

Work closely with AI team to reproduce and analyze failure cases
