Job Description
Protect the environment as a Field Inspector focusing on weeds and pests. Based in Wildwood, this seasonal position involves essential inspections throughout Yellowtail County.
The Weed Inspector plays a key role under the Agricultural Services Coordinator by ensuring compliance with the Weed Control Act. Your work will include inspecting various lands, educating landowners about weed issues, and developing detailed mapping for infestations. This role is a mix of outdoor and administrative tasks requiring effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate vehicles including pickup trucks and ATVs
• Conduct thorough inspections for pests and weeds
• Assist in weed management on County properties
• Develop and execute inspection plans for various sites
• Maintain accurate records and detailed reports
Requirements:
• Class 5 Driver’s License with good standing
• High school completion or equivalent
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certific...
