Field Operations Technician

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or vocational/technical training in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in field operations, network installation, or maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling, network devices, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or confined environments.

Technical Skills/Expertise:

• Certification in fiber optics or networking (e.g., FOA, Cisco, or equivalent).
• Experience with both aerial and underground telecom deployments.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with service-level agreements (SLAs) and field operations procedures.
