Field Research Assistant

**Our client, an agricultural seed production company, is seeking a Field Assistant to join their team.** As a Field Assistant, you will be part of the Agronomy/Field Operations team supporting the Agronomy Supervisor and Research Specialists. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to follow instructions, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Pay Range:** $22/hour

**What’s the Job?**

+ Support corn detasseling activities during peak season (July and early August)
+ Perform field scouting, data collection, and roguing of fields
+ Assist with seed production activities and general field support
+ Operate field equipment on a limited basis when needed
+ Work extended hours, including weekends, and in varying weather conditions
