Field Service Apprentice/ Learner Apprentice

Description

Normally reports directly to artisan, initially under full supervision but evolves to unsupervised with only inspection post work. Should be able to perform challenging technical tasks correctly without any supervision or inspection towards the end of the apprenticeship.

− Supervised/inspected technical work

− Assisting Technicians

− Maintenance of company property, but kept to a minimum

− Accurate Time keeping

− Care and maintain company tools, machines and equipment

− Performing repairs and maintenance on machines

− Assists Field Service Technicians in carrying out their assigned tasks

− Attendance and passing of mandatory training courses

− Washing of company vehicles, cleaning of tools, repairing of tools if repairable, painting of floors and walls if no other jobs are available.
