Field Service Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical / Automation)

+ Perform field inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with UL standards and requirements

+ Analyze test and examination results, applying technical judgment to assess compliance and determine acceptable alternatives

+ Review manufacturers’ production, inspection, and quality systems to ensure ongoing conformity with UL requirements

+ Identify nonconformities, evaluate corrective actions, and resolve variation notices

+ Audit quality management systems and support implementation of quality-based inspection programs

+ Verify accuracy and calibration of measurement equipment; conduct inspections using technical instruments

+ Communicate with manufacturers, customers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to support certification activities

+ Investigate misuse of the UL Mark and provide guidance on UL policies, procedures, and services
