Field Technical Service Engineer

Celanese Engineered Materials is seeking a Field Technical Service engineer with strong polymer processing experience and fundamental knowledge of polymers and scientific molding to join the Americas FTS (Field Technical Service) organization.

Responsibilities:

• Solve customer polymer processing issues utilizing fundamental polymer knowledge, polymer processing skills, and intuition Independently design experiments to determine the effect of polymer processing variables on our materials and the customer product Document key results and processing parameters used during engagements into our standardized form and upload to our repository Understand appropriate polymer analytical testing connecting results to polymer processing, chemistry, and customer observations Interface with product teams to support new product development Collaborate closely with commercial team on customer projec...
