Field Technician

Overview

• Lead Distribution System Asset Maintenance (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
• Support Operations of Distribution system equipment (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
• Substation routine inspections and update maintenance records
• Receive safety documents (Authorizations) from Operation Technician as required by Distribution Safety Rules
• Cable Patrols and Cable Tracing
• Supervise or perform cable testing, fault location, identification, and spiking
• Supervise or perform Cable Testing and Cable Fault Location
• Supervise or perform Cable Identification and Cable Spiking
• Battery maintenance
• Customer service calls and outage calls
• Supervision of Service Contractors
• Supervise commissioning & testing of capital and network reinforcement projects
• Support Meter Technician duties where required
• Standby duties
