Field Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to work out of a central office location as well as nearby facilities in the greater Dane County area. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining a large inventory of desktops, laptops, and other PC devices. The technician will also install new equipment to replace end-of-life devices.
In addition to hardware support, the technician will manage inventory and ensure proper disposal of outdated equipment through approved recycling processes. Responsibilities include maintaining and closing work orders within the organization’s ticketing system. Daily work is performed under the guidance of a Field Technician Manager to ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and methodologies.
