Field Technician

The Field Technician is responsible for managing the implementation of products and solutions sold to customers as well as taking ownership of reported customer issues and to drive timeous resolution of issues.

Must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics as a subject
• Relevant technical qualification such as Millwright Qualification – NQF 4 (Trade School), Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 3 year's proven product/solution implementation and field service/support experience as a technician, mechanic or auto-electrician.
• Must have a basic understanding of vehicle hydraulics.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, test and service technical equipment.
• Must be willing to travel extensively internationally (mainly within Africa) and be away from home on a regular basis.
• Surveying background advantageous.
