Filling & Packaging Service Engineer - Automation

The Filling & Packing Service Engineer – Automation is responsible for providing expert automation and controls support during service interventions, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and startup/commissioning of filling and packaging equipment.
This role ensures reliable machine performance, supports customers on-site and remotely, and collaborates with mechanical and process teams to guarantee successful service execution according to GEA's quality and safety standards.
The position requires strong knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, servo drives, sensors, industrial networks), hands on problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in dynamic production environments across different customer sites.
