Fillmore Hospice Volunteer

**Volunteer Description:**

Hospice volunteers are needed to provide patient/ family assistance. Volunteers will interact directly with patients and families to offer support and will visit patient homes and run errands in the community. They may also participate in office administrative needs for our hospice program.

Essential job responsibilities:

Potential responsibilities include including companionship, running errands, helping to complete unfinished business, other household tasks, contacting surviving family members to provide bereavement support, contacting social workers or bereavement coordinators if concerns are identified, etc. Office support responsibilities include general office, clerical assistance, participating in public relations activities and fundraising activities.
