Position Summary

The Film Scanning Manager oversees the digitization of motion picture film materials, ensuring high-quality scanning, color accuracy, asset integrity, and workflow efficiency. This role manages daily scanning operations, supervises technical staff, maintains equipment, and ensures archival standards are met for preservation and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Scanning Operations Management

• Oversee daily film scanning workflows (16mm, 35mm, 65mm, and other gauges).
• Ensure proper film inspection, cleaning, repair, and preparation prior to scanning.
• Maintain quality control standards for resolution, color fidelity, exposure, and frame stability.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables to meet client and archival deadlines.
