The accountant II is responsible to perform daily and monthly accounting and closing. Such tasks relate to the accounting work for Apache Korea as well. All work is completed within the Seoul office without travel obligations.

[ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS]

1.Maintain and prepare US GAAP-based accounting within Oracle. This includes General Ledger as well as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and a Fixed Asset Ledger
2.Prepare social charge and other government related returns accurately and submit payments prior to deadlines
3.Prepare specific elements of the monthly financial reporting in accordance with US generally accepted accounting standards (GAAP) for timely submission to US Parent Company
4.Manage VAT invoices
5.Maintain statutorily required documentation
6.Aid in the preparation of annual tax filings
