The Opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for a Finance Assistant who has the energy, enthusiasm and drive to “make tomorrow happen” at Glanbia Business Services (GBS). This is a fixed term contract position for 12 months and will report to the Financial Accounting Team Lead.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where there is a key focus on continuous improvement, while delivering high quality, reliable services to other divisions within Glanbia.

Job Responsibilities 
Assist with the preparation of Intercompany Reconciliations across the group

Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of cash records while escalating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner

Assist with the preparation and execution of payment runs, taking responsibility for accuracy and compliance with internal controls while gaining exposure to the treasury processes.
