Job Description
The Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance Department in processing, recording, and monitoring daily financial transactions. This role involves handling disbursement vouchers, purchases, reimbursements, check disbursements, deposits, and maintaining updated books of accounts. The Accounting Clerk ensures accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation of all financial records to support effective decision-making and compliance with company policies.
Check, prepare, and complete disbursement voucher packages.
Handle disbursement of check payments to suppliers and service providers.
Process operating expenses outside petty cash.
Record and monitor asset acquisitions in line with company policies.
Prepare deposits for collections and ensure timely and accurate posting.
Update and maintain the Cash Disbursement Book.
