Finance Clerks

We are looking for multiple Finance Clerks to handle both accounts receivable and payable for identified / specific projects. This involves accurately processing invoices to ensure that vendors and suppliers are paid for goods or services received; and distributing customer invoices and statements to optimise the collection of debt. To administer petty cash processes and controls for the depots

Role and Responsibilities

Processing of Payments

• Captures invoices received from vendors and suppliers accurately and timeously for further processing
• Checks the relevance, accuracy and completeness of all invoices and supporting documentation
• Follows up with creditors on incomplete, incorrect and / or outstanding information and documentation
• Captures and allocates all details to the correct sundry creditor
• Loads payments onto Pastel
• Checks and verifies that all invoices meet the value added tax (VAT) requirements
