OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION

-Responsible for managing general accounting functions covering STAAR Surgical AG and its foreign branches and affiliates

-Manage, guide team in post go-live, adoption phase of Company’s new Oracle ERP and lead/contribute to subsequent update cycles

TASKS

-Own OTC, PTP cycles from a finance perspective, working closely with local procurement and customer service departments as well as the sales organization to optimize working capital

-Manage the month-end closing process as far as accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, and cash are concerned

-Review critical workbooks, journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and relevance of accounting records

-Work with external and internal auditors, coordinating related activities internally
