Job Scope and responsibility
1) Act as head of department for Accounts & Finance department and give advice to HR/admin department where necessary
2) Lead & supervise the accounting team on the day-to-day operation, manage cash flow, month end/quarterly closing of accounts and review all journals, posting & reconciliation (including mid size active group of companies)
3) Responsible for implementing accounting and financial policies and procedures as required by management
4) Perform/Review tax computation, tax planning, handle/resolve tax issues and liaise with tax agents /authorities on tax matters
5) Review financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance of MPERs accounting standard
6) Properly monitor related party transactions and transfer pricing issue
