Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions for shipping agencies, including payables, receivables, and cost control.
• Manage monthly financial closings, ensure proper accruals, and prepare financial statements (local GAAP, IFRS).
• Monitor KPIs, AR collection, and credit management.
• Conduct variance analysis and cash flow forecasts.
• Lead annual budgeting, liaise with auditors and tax authorities, and ensure tax compliance.
• Drive SAP project, implement cost-saving initiatives, and support management in strategic decisions.
• Ensure strong internal controls, oversee audits, and maintain financial records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Tax, with MBA or CPA.
• 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role in shipping/logistics.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint; Oracle/SAP experience a plus.
