Finance & Nation Support Advisor

Position Summary

AIMA is seeking a Finance & Nation Support Advisor to support financial operations, audit preparation, reporting, and community-based financial administration work. This role is ideal for someone with solid finance or accounting experience who understands the realities First Nations communities face, including funding restrictions, reporting pressures, community priorities, and the need for practical, relationship-based support. The role is intended as a strong mid-level position rather than a senior leadership post, which better matches the compensation range and the support-focused nature of the work. The senior version of this role emphasized deep ISC/INAC funding, governance, and leadership responsibilities, while your current need is a more hands‑on support role.
