Job Description

Our client is a well-established, purpose-driven organisation operating in the sport and community sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support their finance function across accounts payable, payroll and general finance administration.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Coordinate fortnightly payroll via an external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Liaise with an external HR provider on payroll-related and general HR administration matters
  • Manage weekly accounts payable runs, including invoice processing and supplier queries
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and support month-end processes
  • Assist with banking activities, including adherence to policy and cashflow support
