Position Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting/Deputy Treasurer, this position takes the lead in providing financial support to the areas of finance, accounting, and financial reporting. Focus areas include implementation of the new Public Sector Accounting Board standards, coordination of the annual audit process and liaison with the town’s external auditors, preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes, and reporting to Council of the audited financial statements.
