Financial Accountant

Purpose of the Position

• The Financial Accountant provides financial accounting support to the Finance team, including the preparation of BAS and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns. This role ensures all components of the consolidated financial statements are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements for the Corporate Group
• Assist with annual financial statements and tax returns for family group entities
• Manage the Group Fixed Asset Management system (Hardcat), including asset additions, depreciation, and disposals for accounting and tax purposes
