Financial Accountant

Introduction

We are currently recruiting for an urgent vacancy for a Financial Accountant within the investments/capital industry. The successful candidate will be a SAIPA-qualified professional with at least 2 years' post-articles experience, strong financial accounting and reporting skills, and exposure to tax. This role is open to candidates from any industry and requires hands-on experience in preparing financial statements and tax-related work.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• SAIPA qualification with a minimum of 2 years' post-articles experience
• Proven experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
• Preparation of financial statements
• Tax computations and submission of tax returns
• Experience working with Xero accounting software (essential)
• Employment equity candidates will be given preference in line with company policy
