About the job Financial Accountant (Mobeni, KZN)
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Review of Cashbooks for the Group Preparation of projected monthly/weekly Cashflows Preparation/Review of journals Preparation/Review of balance sheet recons Compilation/Review of Monthly Management accounts Preparation of audit packs and overseeing the external audit Assisting in preparation/review of the AFS for the Group Preparation of annual budgets Preparation of tax comps and review of tax returns Review of Vat workings Liaison with Tax Practitioner and resolving all tax matters. Liaison with Internal Auditors and assist with queries. Reviewing and updating of systems description and SOPs Reviewing of processes and making changes where necessary to improve efficiency Review of system generated transactions and reports. Assistance with Stock take Review of selected tasks performed by the branch Admin Managers Review/verification of Fixed Assets register.
