Financial Accountant

Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled and deadline-driven Financial Accountant to oversee the full bookkeeping function across multiple regions. The successful candidate will be hands-on, highly accurate, and able to manage cashbooks, reconciliations, trial balance, and balance sheet integrity while maintaining strong controls and reporting discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accurate and timeous cashbook processing
• Manage the Trial Balance, General Ledger and Balance Sheet monthly Balance
• Ensure correct allocations, coding and posting across all transactions
• Perform and maintain Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Maintain 12-month overhead reconciliations and schedules
• Ensure GL housekeeping weekly and monthly (including clearing and correction of misallocations)
• Maintain sub-ledgers and supporting schedules on Excel, ensuring they reconcile to the Balance Sheet
