Job Description
Join the Ontario SPCA as a Financial Analyst and take charge of financial processes. Analyze key metrics and support budgeting in a compassionate, animal-centered environment.
This role reports to the Controller, Finance, and emphasizes collaboration in financial tasks. You will assist with month-end closings and budgeting while providing analytical insights to department managers. Demonstrating key skills in finance and organizational effectiveness helps support the Society’s mission of animal welfare and community care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries for month-end accounting
• Provide weekly cash deposit tracking reports
• Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations
• Support the Accounting Clerk and train as needed
• Maintain financial configurations for management systems
Requirements:
• Enrollment in CPA Professional Education Program or similar
• University degree or related College diploma
• 3-5 years of relevant financial exper...
