Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Experience & Technical Skills

• Experience supporting U.S. federal, state, and local tax requirements is an advantage.
• Proficient in spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and financial systems such as QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Familiarity with document management and record retention practices.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, especially during peak tax periods.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Professional Credentials (Preferred but Not Required)

• CPA (U.S. or Canadian) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a strong advantage.
