Financial Controller

Our client, a well-established and growing Alberta-based retail organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to join their leadership team. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Controller will provide strategic financial leadership while overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, inventory controls, risk management, payroll oversight, and business systems across a multi-location operation.

What you'll do:

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and management reports.

Oversee inventory accounting, physical inventory counts, and internal controls.

Manage cash flow, banking relationships, tax compliance, payroll oversight, and insurance programs.

Coordinate external review engagements, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
