The Job Description for the Financial Controller is as follows:
Maintain books of accounts in accordance with US GAAP.
Record and reconcile sales, COGS, freight, warehousing, and marketplace fees.
Bank, payment gateway (Stripe/PayPal), and credit card reconciliations.
Inventory and cost tracking for tyre SKUs across vendors and platforms.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Profitability analysis by product, channel, and customer.
Sales tax compliance (nexus analysis, filings, and reconciliations).
Accounts payable & receivable management.
Cash flow monitoring and working capital reporting.
Coordination with US CPA / tax advisors for filings and audits.
