Summary This position is responsible for handling all accounting and payment issues and processes for the many varied programs of APHIS, as well as services for the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) and the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS). Responsibilities The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Design, implementation and maintenance of automated systems related to financial, accounting or budgetary functions. Coordinates and manages a wide range of special projects and assignments. Monitors the daily operations and performance of the financial system and other various computer systems and applications.
