Financial Manager

My client is a well-established school, part of a JSE-listed education group and with over 25 years of operating excellence, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance. This role requires a hands-on finance professional with the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business.
Duties:
Review and manage the annual budget and revised forecasts
Review monthly management accounts including actual vs budget variance analysis and performance commentary
Present monthly financial results
Ensure all accounting transactions are processed accurately and timeously
Oversee treasury management including cash flow forecasting, bank mandates and forex matters
Ensure all tax returns and statutory payments are submitted accurately and on time
Drive debtors management
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting minimum
At least 5 years experience in a similar role
