Financial Reporting Manager Contract Position

Lead financial reporting initiatives with Pet Valu as a Manager for an 18-month contract. Oversee consolidated statements, compliance, and audits, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
Pet Valu is looking for a dedicated Manager of Financial Reporting to guide external financial disclosures. This role demands a CPA designation and 4-5 years of experience in Big-4 accounting or public companies. Key responsibilities include financial statement preparation, managing audits, and supporting regulatory adherence through IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and MD&A according to IFRS
• Manage quarter-end and year-end timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate with external auditors for reviews and audits
• Research new IFRS standards and communicate changes
• Support financial consolidation for accurate internal reporting
Requirements:
• CPA, CA designation required
• 4-5 years in public accounting or comparable experience
