Summary This position is located in the DEA, Office of Forensic Science. This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as a Financial Specialist within the Financial Management Unit (SFAF), Administrative Support & Financial Management Section, Office of Forensic Sciences (SF) in the Headquarters Operational Support Division. The incumbent provides expert financial program and operational support. Responsibilities As a your typical work assignments may include: Performs analysis and reconciliation of a variety of serviced accounts. Analyzes and resolves complex issues related to the financial aspect of laboratory wide programs, as well as accounting systems. Provides guidance to travelers on travel policy and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Reviews financial obligations and expenditures ensuring compliance with purchase card, procurement, and travel policies and procedures.
