The Fire and Life Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing all fire suppression and detection systems within facilities are operational and meet all Federal regulations, NFPA standards, ULC S536 – Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Canadian Standards Association, CSA-C282 – Emergency Power Supply for Buildings, and Fire Marshal Directives – FMD 4004, FMD 4006. As needed and as volume increases, the Fire and Life Safety Manager may also be responsible for overseeing a team of resources to further coordinate the planning, execution, and testing of the fire suppression and detection systems in facilities.
