Sithanda GeoScience is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Assay Laboratory Technician to join our Laboratory Operations team in Gauteng.

The successful candidate will support Fire Assay processes, ensure accurate sample preparation and data capture, and maintain compliance with strict laboratory quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform weighing, fluxing, fusion, and cupellation procedures

· Handle lead buttons and collect precious metal beads

· Accurately weigh and document final assay results

· Capture and manage sample data using LIMS

· Maintain strict quality, safety, and housekeeping standards

Requirements:

· Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry major

· Minimum 3 years' laboratory experience (Fire Assay highly mandatory)

· Basic computer literacy and experience with laboratory data systems
