Fire Protection Engineer

Our Chalk River location is looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to provide subject matter expertise in the area of fire protection and fire department emergency services to ensure compliance with applicable fire protection codes and standards on fire protection equipment/system and to inform the appropriate official of contraventions of such codes and standards so that necessary corrective action may take place.

What will you be doing!

Reviewing fire hazard analyses, assessments, and other fire safety documentation for compliance with applicable requirements.

Completing fire safety assessments associated with the Fire Protection.

Completing or reviewing FHA’s as required.

Reviewing and evaluating requests for fire safety exemptions and equivalencies.
