Fire Protection Engineer - Security Clearance required

Jacobs has an opportunity for a Fire Protection Engineer supporting our long-term project at a client site in Washington, DC. or Quantico, VA.

Position Description

The Fire Protection Engineer will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, and customer focused. This position will be working with our Federal group as an owner’s representative. The Senior Fire Protection engineer will act as a consultant in the establishment of Fire Protection and Life Safety design standards and criteria for construction projects. Provide expert Fire Protection engineering support based on these requirements:

• Review proposal documents for accuracy and ability to meet client standards. Provide comments and/or recommendations as necessary.

• Review Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Life Safety, and Fire Protection floor plans utilizing various NFPA and IBC Codes and Standards.
