Fire Protection Specialist

**Job Description**


**Onsite: Rosario Plant.**


**What you will do (responsibilities):**


**Fire Protection Systems Oversight**


+ Supervise the performance and operational condition of fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, fire pumps, detection and alarm systems, deluge systems, etc.) in compliance with NFPA standards and Argentine regulations.
+ Participate in “Fire Protection Adequacy” projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical guidance.
+ Review engineering drawings for new installations or plant modifications to ensure alignment with GM standards.


**Risk Management & Compliance**


+ Conduct risk assessments for critical activities such as hot work, confined spaces, work at heights, and chemical storage areas.
+ Manage Hot Work Permits and audit contractor documentation compliance on site.
