Job Description
Become a Fire Safety Specialist with InterRent, focusing on developing fire safety plans and compliance for properties in Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia. This full-time role involves safety drills and extensive training responsibilities.
In this position, you will actively engage with property teams to create effective fire safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to regulations. Your leadership in fire safety training and collaboration with Fire Prevention Officers will be crucial for promoting best practices and ensuring safety across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly review and update fire safety plans
• Coordinate fire drills following safety codes
• Inspect fire safety equipment for compliance
• Liaise with contractors for safety upgrades
• Collaborate on modernization projects impacting fire safety
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Fire Safety experience
• CFI-I designation considered an asset
