First Aider

Role Overall

· a certified first aider is responsible for providing immediate, temporary care to injured or ill individuals .

· Provide immediate, temporary care for injuries (wounds, burns, fractures) or illnesses until professional medical help arrives.

· Record details of injuries, illnesses, and treatments provided for reporting to safety officers or management.

· Maintain a clean, well-stocked first-aid kit/area in accordance with occupational safety and health (OSH) standards.

Qualifications

· Certified First Aider with valid qualifications

· Observes staff with injuries or illnesses requiring further treatment.

· Maintains required records and documentation including log of injuries and occupational illnesses requiring first aid treatment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
