First Class Chief Power Engineer & Environmental Manager

Reports to the Site Manager. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of energy systems while leading all aspects of site environmental activities. This person contributes to optimizing energy performance and reducing environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Operations and Maintenance
  • Oversee powerhouse operations (boilers, steam, water systems, and utilities)
  • Plan shutdowns, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
  • Optimize equipment performance and reliability
• Environmental Management
  • Manage environmental programs (air, water, waste, GHGs)
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits
  • Lead audits and regulatory reporting
